Ladies and gentlemen, please follow me up the steps from Lengjia terrace toLiuyun Pavilion on the top of Jinshan mountain. Liuyun Pavilion is the most openplace in Jinshan. It is said that Emperor Kangxi accompanied his mother to visitJinshan. When he came here, he could not help saying: "here is a panoramic viewof the river and the sky." In order to please the emperor, the officialsrespectfully invited the emperor to write an inscription. When Kangxi wrote"Jiang Tianyi", he forgot to write and couldn't write any more. One of theministers saw this situation and immediately knelt down to play: "I see youtoday." When Kangxi heard that "I see you now", he suddenly realized and wrotethe word "Lan" in his essay. Because the traditional Chinese character "Lan" iscomposed of "Chen", "Jin" and "Jian", the minister skillfully used the method ofword splitting to remind Kangxi. Although this is a legend, these four words arenot all at once. The No.1 spring in the world is also called Zhongling spring. Nanlingspring is a mile to the west of Jinshan. It was famous in the Tang Dynasty. Thefirst spring was in the same river with Jinshan. During the reign of Xianfengand Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty, it landed with Jinshan. According to records,before the spring was in the river, the river water came from the west, blockedby Shibo mountain and uishan mountain, the water potential twists and turns,divided into three Ling (Leng means Shuiqu, Sanling means Nanling, Zhongling andBeiling), and the spring water was just under the middle of a Shuiqu, so it wasnamed "Zhongling spring". Because it is located in the southwest of Jinshan, itis also called "Nanling spring".
Zhongling spring was once lost. Later, in the eighth year of Tongzhi reignof the Qing Dynasty, it was discovered by Xue Shuchang and others. On the right side, there are stone carvings of "Zhongling spring"written by Shen Bingcheng and "Zhongling spring debate" written by XueShuchang.
Since the Tang Dynasty, Zhongling spring has been loved by people. LuYupin, a tea critic in the Tang Dynasty, ranked Zhongling spring the first inthe world. Liu Bochu, a famous scholar in the later Tang Dynasty, rankedZhongling spring the seventh in the country. Zhongling spring in the YangtzeRiver was the first. From then on, Zhongling spring was known as "the firstspring in the world". It is said that "the cup does not overflow" when thespring water is stored in the cup, although the water is two or three pointshigher than the cup mouth, it does not overflow; when a coin is put on thewater, it does not sink to the bottom. 各位游客：來到鎮江，首選的景點必定是金山。因為金山不僅地勢獨特，“萬川東注，一島中立”，號稱“江心一朵芙蓉”，更重要的是山上建筑精巧，山和寺相互輝映，渾然一體，山是一座廟，廟是一座山，山因寺得名，寺為山增色，因而以“金山寺裹山”著稱于世。
游客們：在前往金山途中，我先來介紹一下金山的形成情況。金山位于鎮江市的西北，山高44米，繞山一周約520米。它原是大海之中的一座懸礁孤島，隨著滄桑變遷，由于長江在流向變動中多次沖擊金山北岸的瓜洲，到清朝光緒元年(1875年)，整個瓜洲全部塌入長江，就這樣泥沙把金山與陸地聯成一片，形成了金山的雛形。
金山的聞名還與金山寺的建造密切相關。早在東晉末年，金山上就建起了一座澤心寺。到了唐朝，有個名叫法海的禪師在此開山得金，重建了古剎，更名為金山寺，規模十分宏大，香火一直綿延至今。
美麗的金山還流傳著許多動人的傳說，《白蛇傳》中的“水漫金山寺”一段故事，更為金山增添了一層神秘的色彩。游客們：下面就讓我們去游賞金山吧!
【江天禪守：山門—天王殿—大雄寶殿】
各位游客：我們現在來到了金山寺山門，大家朝正方看：山門上懸掛著一塊“江天禪寺”的橫匾，這是清康熙皇帝來金山觀光時親筆題寫的。山門氣象森嚴，兩只明代石獅雄踞兩旁。不知各位有沒有觀察到，我國寺廟的山門一般是朝南的，而金山寺的山門卻是朝西的，這是因為金山原來聳立在江心，長江由西向東奔流，寺門向西，站在寺門口可以看到“大江東去，群山西來”的壯觀氣勢。這也反映了我國古代建筑師別具匠心。
金山寺最初建于東晉，距今已有1600多年的歷史了，原名澤心寺。自唐以來，人們統稱金山寺。全盛時期有和尚3000余人，參禪的僧侶有萬人之多，在佛教禪宗寺廟中有著卓著的地位。
好!請各位隨我進入山門。這是天王殿，是一座單檐歇山頂的五開間宮殿式建筑，中間供奉的是笑口常開的彌勒佛，背后是佛門的護法神韋馱，兩側是四大天王。
走出天王殿，迎面這座重檐歇山頂大殿，就是“大雄寶殿”，它由中國佛教協會會長趙樸初題寫殿名。于1989年10月建成，總面積800平方米，黃墻紅柱，金色的琉璃屋面，白石柱礎欄桿，使整個大殿既有北方寺廟雄渾富麗的氣勢，又兼有南方園林精美雅致的風格，顯得格外巍峨壯麗，金碧輝煌。
進入大殿，正中三尊金身佛像并列而坐，分別是釋迎牟尼佛、藥師佛和阿彌陀佛;兩旁站立十八羅漢，形象高大，栩栩如生。左右閣樓上坐著56天尊。我們再來看背面，“五十三參”海島群塑中，正中為觀音菩薩，左為善財童子，右為龍女，左前方文殊菩薩騎著青獅，右前方普賢菩薩跨著白象，正上方地藏王菩薩坐騎揭諦獸，正中頂上為如來佛，四大天王分布下方左右。海島上下四周，分布著大小不一，形態各異的被善財童子參拜過的53位菩薩的彩塑。特別引人注目的是，金山寺中的德云比丘，以及金山寺海島也在其中。來到這里，我們仿佛進入了一個美妙的佛國世界。
【夕照閣—觀音閣—“金山四寶”】
請大家隨我從大殿后側登山，進入夕照閣。閣內有保存完好的乾隆南巡金山時留下的7塊御碑。這些石碑記載著乾隆六下江南對金山勝景的評價，還留下了一個頗有趣味的傳聞：乾隆不是其父雍正皇帝所生，他6次來到金山寺，目的就是來尋找自己的生身父親。
觀賞了乾隆的御碑，由夕照閣上行至觀音閣，去參觀四寶室。室內珍藏著金山的鎮山四寶：“周鼎、銅鼓、玉帶和金山圖”。先請各位來看“周鼎”：這是2700多年前，周宣王獎給北伐統帥遂啟棋的青銅器，因而全稱“周朝遂啟棋大鼎”。1884年湖北漢陽葉志光贈給金山寺收藏。接著看“東漢銅鼓”：這是清代鎮江知府魁元贈給金山寺的。相傳為諸葛亮所創制，正面可作戰鼓，反面能做炊具，民間稱之為“諸葛鼓”。然后再請欣賞“東坡玉帶”：相傳是宋朝蘇東坡與佛印和尚打賭輸給金山寺的，帶上綴系著長方形、圓形、心形等形狀不同的白色玉片。玉帶雖經900余年，仍然光潔如鑒。最后請大家觀賞《金山圖》：它是由“明四家”之一文徵明所繪。畫中江水蒼茫，金山中流，左有文做明的題詩，后有歷代名人的題跋。
【妙高臺—楞伽臺】
由觀音閣朝南沿石階而上，我們來到了妙高峰的平臺——妙高臺。這是金山高僧佛印在宋元佑年間鑿巖建造的，又稱為曬經臺。這里歷來是中秋賞月的佳處，傳說蘇東坡的著名詞作《水調歌頭》就是在此地有感而發的。“梁紅玉擂鼓戰金山”的千古佳話，也發生在這里。1130年南宋名將韓世忠以400水兵將數萬人侵金兵團在金山附近。韓夫人梁紅玉登上妙高臺，親擂戰鼓，鼓勵士氣，宋軍大振，大破金兀術。從此巾幗英雄流芳百世，雄風千載。
從妙高臺往南，來到了位于金山東南側山腰上的楞枷臺，又名蘇經樓。“楞伽”是印度語，意為“不可住”，或者說是大海中遠不可達、高不可攀的一座大山。這座傍山駁石的樓閣，建筑奇巧，由下而上要經過三重樓閣，每上一層，就難尋去路，但一開洞門，忽見有樓梯可登。大家要迂回曲折，才能到達樓頂，真有“山重水復疑無路，柳暗花明又一村”的感覺。
在最高層的兩間寬敞休息廳里，可以看到許多古代紅木家具、名人書畫。中央有座玲瓏的四方亭，因亭內曾陳列過蘇東坡遺留下來的雪浪石，故取名“雪浪亭”。據說蘇東坡晚年受老友佛印法師相托在此寫過《楞枷佛經》。中國佛教協會會長趙樸初在這里寫有“清風明月本無價，近山遠水皆有情”的詩句。走上臺頂廳外長廊，極目遠眺，當我們看到了四面碧空萬里、江天渾然一色的美景，是不是也能感受到“清風明月，近山遠水”的意境呢?
【留云亭—佛印山房—七峰事—古仙人洞】
各位游客：請跟我由楞伽臺向北沿臺階緩步而上，前去攀登金山頂峰的留云亭。留云亭是金山視覺最為開闊之處。傳說當年康熙皇帝陪其母游覽金山來到這里，看到大江東去，水天一色的壯景，情不自禁地說：“這里可謂江天一覽。”官員們為了討皇帝歡心，恭請圣上題詞。當康熙寫到“江天一”時，提筆忘字，忽然寫不下去了。其中有一大臣見此情狀，立即跪奏：“臣今見駕。”康熙聽見“臣今見”，恍然大悟，隨筆寫出“覽”字。因為“覽”字繁體正是由“臣、今、見”三個單字組成，這位大臣巧妙地用拆字法提醒了康熙，十分機靈。雖然這是傳說，但這四個字的確不是一氣呵成。大家看，這“江天一”三字要比“覽”字大些。因康熙御筆“江天一覽”碑在亭內，故留云亭又稱為“江天一覽亭”。
從留云亭北走不遠，便到了佛印山房。這里是宋代著名法師佛印的住處。相傳，佛印與蘇東坡是青年時代的好友，一次兩人打賭，佛印失敗，無奈出家遁入空門。由于他學識高超，最終成為金山和焦山兩座寺廟的住持大方丈，蘇東坡則成了宋代有名的大學士，兩人經常在這里吟詩作畫。
從佛印山房朝西北沿路西行，就來到了金山西側的金鰲嶺上的七峰亭，該亭又稱七峰閣。據說岳飛當年被十二道金牌催返臨安，途經鎮江，到金山寺拜訪道月方丈，告訴他自己昨夜營宿瓜洲時，夢見兩犬講話。道月解夢說：“二犬對言，是一獄字，此去恐怕有牢獄之災，務必謹慎。”臨別時，道月贈詩一首：“風波亭下浪滔滔，千萬留心把舵牢。謹防同舟人意歹，將身推落在波濤。”意在提醒岳飛。岳飛被害于風波亭時嘆息：“悔不聽道月之言。”后來秦檜得知金山寺道月方丈能未卜先知，便派將軍何立前去拘捕，何立剛到金山，見道月在召集佛會說法：“吾年四十九，是非終目有。不為自己身，只因多開口。何立自南來，我向西方走。不是佛力大，幾乎落人手。”說完便坐化歸天了。秦檜未拿到道月，認為金鰲嶺上七峰突出，每代都出高僧，盛怒之下，下令削平七峰，以破壞風水，后人為紀念岳飛和道月就建了這座“七峰亭”。
沿七峰亭北面彎曲石級路向下，有一洞深6.6米，依山洞建筑一座半亭，這是道教遺跡。傳說仙人呂洞賓曾在這里觀望江面，所以叫仙人洞。國佛教徒也曾把觀音供奉此洞，又名白衣洞。大家有興趣的話，可以下去看看這個古仙人洞。

金山名勝古跡甚多，俯拾皆是。玲瓏秀麗的慈壽塔立于金山西北山巔之上，高30米，和整個金山及金山寺配合的恰到好處，仿佛把這座山都拔高了。磚木結構的塔，上下通行，每一層八面都有走廊和欄桿，八面通風，面面有景，層層風光不一樣，宋代王安石詩云：“數重樓枕層層石，四壁窗開面面風，忽見鳥飛平地上，始驚身在半空中”。再如楞枷臺、妙高臺、觀音閣、法海洞、古仙人洞、古白龍洞等名勝古跡，皆依山旁勢鑿巖而建，構思神巧，令人贊嘆建筑者的神奇智慧和高超藝術。清代大詩人、大書畫家張船山《十六日雪中渡江》云：“故人折簡近相招，一舸橫江路不遙。醇酒暗消京口雪，大帆平壓海門潮。揚州燈火難為月，吳市笙歌剩此簫。那管風濤千萬里，妙蓮兩朵是金焦。”將金山比為一朵美麗的蓮花。
天下第一泉又名中泠泉，南泠泉，在金山以西一里之遙。唐代時就已聞名天下。第一泉原與金山同在江中，清咸豐、同治年間，遂隨金山登陸。據記載，以前泉水在江中，江水來自西方，受到石簿山和鶻山的阻擋，水勢曲折轉流，分為三泠(冷是水曲的意思，三泠為南泠、中泠、北泠)，而泉水就在中間一個水曲之下，故名“中泠泉”。因位置在金山的西南面，故又稱“南泠泉”。
中泠泉曾一度迷失，后來于清朝同治八年被候補道薛書常等人發現，遂命石工在泉眼四同迭石為池，并由常鎮通海道觀察使沈秉成，于同治十年春寫記立碑，建亭覆亡。光緒年間鎮江知府王仁堪又在池周造起石欄，池旁筑庭榭。并拓地四十畝，開塘種植荷菱，又筑土堤，種柳萬株，抵擋江流沖擊，柳荷相映，十分秀麗。方池南面石壁上刻有“天下第一泉”五個遒勁大字，為王仁堪所書。池旁蓋樓建亭，池南建有一座八角亭，雙層立柱，直徑七米，十分寬敞，取名“鑒亭”，是以水為鏡，以泉為鑒之意。亭中有石桌石凳，供游人小憩，十分風涼幽雅。池北建有兩層樓房一座，樓上樓下為茶室，環境幽靜，林蔭覆護，風景清雅，是游客品茗的最佳之處。樓下層前壁左側，嵌有沈秉成所書“中泠泉”三字石刻，右側為沈秉成“中泠泉”及薛書常“中泠泉辯”石刻。
唐朝以來，中泠泉水一直為人們所喜愛。唐代評茶專家陸羽品中泠泉水為天下第一，后唐名士劉伯芻分全國水為七等，揚子江的中泠泉為第一，從此中泠泉被譽為“天下第一泉”。用此泉水沏茶，清香甘冽，相傳有“盈杯不溢”之說：貯泉水于杯中，水雖高出杯口二三分都不溢;水面放上一枚硬幣，也不見沉底。泉水綠如翡翠，濃似瓊漿，其醇可知。

金山位于市區西北，高四十四米，周五百二十米，距市中心三公里。古代金山是屹立于長江中流的一個島嶼，“萬川東注，一島中立”，與瓜洲、西津渡成犄角之勢，為南北來往要道，久以“卒然天立鎮中流，雄跨東南二百州”而聞名，被稱為“江心一朵芙蓉”。直至清代道光年間，才開始與南岸陸地相連，于是“騎驢上金山”曾盛行一時。金山形勝天然，風景幽絕，自古為我國優美游覽勝地之一。
金山自古名稱很多，古人把揚子江比作香水海，把這座山比作《華嚴經》里的七金山，所以叫作金山。而宋代王存著的《九域志》中則有另一說法：唐代高僧法海云游來此，為子修復寺廟，每日在山間披荊斬棘，一日挖到黃金。地方官李奇上反皇帝，皇帝敕令將黃金交法海作修復寺廟之用，并名山為金山。此外，金山還曾叫過澤心山、浮玉山、獲茯山、龍游山、紫金山等。而金山的名則與金山寺有關，金山寺巧妙地依山而建，富有獨特的建筑風格，殿宇后堂幢幢相銜，亭臺樓閣層層相接，山體與寺廟渾然一體，構成一組櫞摩棟接，丹輝碧映的古建筑群，景色壯觀，氣勢雄偉，形成“寺裹山”的獨特風貌。宋休以來，京流傳著“金山寺裹山，焦山山裹寺”的評語。
金山又有“神話山”之稱，山上每一個古跡都有迷人的神話、傳說和故事。中國有名的古典神話故事《白蛇傳》中“水漫金山寺”，就源出于此，民間流傳甚廣，為這座名城增添了十分迷人的色彩。小說《說岳全傳》中的岳飛到過的金山古跡“七峰亭”，景色宜人。章回小說《水滸》中“張順夜伏金山寺，宋江智取潤州城(即今鎮江城)”一回對金山瑰奇風景，作了細膩生動的描寫。清代皇帝康熙、乾隆多次南巡，駐蹕金山，留下不少“御制”文物，有關乾隆在金山的民間故事傳說甚多，使金山更負盛名。歷代詩人、書法家、名人雅士，如白居易、李白、張祜、孫魴、蘇東坡、王安石、沈拓、范仲淹、趙孟頫、王陽明等登臨觀景，留下了許許多多珍貴的遺跡和膾炙人口的題詠。唐代起，國際友人登山游覽者絡繹不絕。明代日本畫僧雪舟等楊居住金山兩年半時間，繪有《大唐揚子江心金山龍游禪寺之圖》等有關金山的畫卷，現保存在寺廟。
