眾所周知，詞匯是英語學習的基礎，就像我們在語文中字、詞的基礎地位一樣。特別是對小學生而言，詞匯掌握的好與壞直接影響到他們學習英語的興趣。沒有足夠的詞匯，英語學習就像建房沒有磚瓦一樣，不能有效地進行聽說讀寫,無法有效地用英語進行交際。基于這點，研究“詞匯課”的高效課堂教學很有必要。
在此，我把個人在詞匯教學中的一些做法與在座的各位分享一下。
在高效課堂的構建中，我于“五步”教學模式里落實詞匯教學：
第一步：warm-up熱身環節
新課伊始，教師能否在較短的時間里調動起學生的積極性，吸引學生
的注意力，使學生思維進入興奮的狀態，迅速進入學習軌道，是教學成功與否的關鍵。因此課前1——2分鐘的warm-up是課堂教學的重要前奏。課前熱身活動不僅能夠調節課堂氣氛,而且還能復習舊的知識,起到鞏固作用。教材中的let’s sing/let’s chant/let’s doit都可以用來熱身，激發學生學習英語的興趣和熱情，也可以通過free talk的形式與學生交談，拉近師生關系，營造英語學習氛圍。
本環節的教學原則是：熱身活動要與本堂課的教學內容有關，銜接新舊知識，激發學生學習興趣。
第二步：revision復習環節
復習與本課有關的內容，設計活潑、新穎、有趣的教學活動與新知巧妙結合，喚起學生對已有知識的記憶，調動學生的學習熱情，既檢查了舊知識的掌握情況，又為新課做好鋪墊。
這一環節的教學原則是：針對新知識進行復習，復習的內容要與新知識緊密銜接，并通過舊知識的復習自然過渡到新知識的學習。
復習的方法可以有多種：
1、通過游戲進行復習。如：listen and touch,聽單詞觸摸圖片，看誰先摸到所聽的圖片。read and connect，圖片與單詞連線，看誰連得快。do and guess,你做我猜，一人按照單詞做相應的動作，其他同學猜，看誰在規定時間內猜到的詞語多等等。
2、通過情境進行復習。復習的內容不能脫離了語境，脫離了語言的環境，單詞的練習就成了無源之水，無本之木。所以要盡可能創設出一種真實的情境，使學生在這種情境下輕松的開口說英語，綜合利用所學的詞匯、句型表達自己的真情實感，不能簡單的機械地讀。
第三步：presentation and drill呈現、操練環節
呈現環節是引入、講解和操練新內容的環節，是學生感知、理解和認識新的語言項目的過程,是課堂教學的關鍵環節之一。我們可以通過實物、圖片、幻燈片、簡筆畫、體態語、聲音、師生交流對話等方式呈現新詞匯，也可以通過摸一摸、猜一猜的方式引導學生學習新詞匯，對于高年級學生還可以采用同義詞、反義詞、利用拼讀規則和構詞規則等方式。具體的呈現方式應根據教學內容和學生的年齡特點來設計，以不同形式呈現新詞匯，抓住學生的好奇心，吸引學生的注意力，給學生留下深刻的第一印象。
本環節需要注意的是：
1、在情境中呈現新詞匯，在語言交際活動中教學詞匯，結合語篇，體現詞的應用，不宜孤立學習，要激發學生的興趣。
2、按意、音、形的順序呈現新詞匯。也就是說，先讓學生接觸單詞的意思和發音，最后出現詞形，就拿教學cat一詞為例，可以先出示貓的圖片，再說出cat的`發音，最后給出單詞c-a-t，cat。這就是剛才所說的“意、音、形的順序”。
3、呈現方式要簡單、明了，符合學生的年齡特征。
比如：在教學三年級下冊第一、二單元的動物單詞時，可以用模仿動物的聲音或動作的方式引出各種動物，教授monkey一詞時，可以做一個猴子的動作，讓學生猜是什么動物，再引出單詞monkey，而在教授duck一詞時，可以學鴨子的聲音，通過聲音讓學生猜是什么動物，從而引出duck一詞，其他動物單詞也可以按這種方式教授。這樣讓學生邊做動作邊發動物聲音來記憶單詞，既能吸引學生的注意力又會加深學生對單詞的記憶。
在這一環節中，聽音跟讀也是很關鍵的，在所有的新知識都學完之后，應讓學生進行跟讀模仿，使學生保持正確而純正的發音。
第四步：practice練習環節
在學生感知了新詞匯后，我們就要進一步強化學生的記憶，運用各種方式練習鞏固單詞。為了讓學生樂于開口，主動地學習，我們就要運用多種學生喜歡又很實用的方式練習，達到四會或三會的詞匯教學目標。通常可以采用以下練習方式：
listen and point聽一聽，指一指；listen and do聽一聽，做一做；
look at my mouth看口型；bomb game炸彈游戲；what’s missing?哪個詞丟掉了；stone,scissors,cloth石頭，剪子，布；little teacher小老師；自編歌謠或歌曲。
這一環節應遵循的教學原則是：
1、練習的設計要有梯度，由易到難，由淺入深，要從機械操練過渡到意義操練，要面向全體學生。
2、讓學生在練習中感悟新詞匯，使其達到聽、說、讀、寫的訓練。
3、多種感官感知詞匯，多種方式練習詞匯。每節課可以選擇不同的練習方式，以調動學生的積極性，但在一節課中，所選的練習方式不宜過多，應讓每種練習方式練實，而不是只圖“熱鬧”，成為虛設的花架子。
第五步：consolidation and extension鞏固和擴展環節
詞匯是語言的建筑材料，是人與人之間思想交流的主要基石，因此，詞匯教學不應該只是詞匯的講解，更重要的是詞匯的運用，只有通過運用學生才能掌握詞匯。運用、操練是促進學生牢固掌握詞匯的有效途徑。在運用過程中，注意要組織符合學生特點活動，要鼓勵學生建立起自己的詞匯聯系，讓學生激活原有的知識，用新學會的詞進行運用，增加詞匯的復現率。教師要把課堂交際作為立足點，逐步引導學生由課堂延伸到課外乃至日常生活中，做到學以致用、知行合一。
本環節的教學原則是：
1、在活動中運用新詞匯。
2、詞不離句，句不離篇。
教材中設計的let’do it/let’s play/let’s sing/let’s chant/等都能有效的鞏固新詞匯，我們要善于運用這些活動和游戲，讓學生通過做一做、演一演、玩一玩、找一找、唱一唱等多種方式鞏固新知。對于高年級的詞匯我們可以采用fill in the blanks等形式達到寫的訓練。如：最后的鞏固環節就可以設計這樣的訓練，給出圖片，給出句子根據圖片完成句子，從而鍛煉學生寫的能力。
此外，我們可以在教材的基礎上深挖知識鏈，設計新舊知識聯系的結對活動或小組活動，讓學生將新知識運用于生活當中，延伸到課外，拓展運用語言進行交流。
最后，homework
作業的形式可分為口頭、聽力和筆頭等多種形式。目的是復習鞏固已學內容，作業的設計要圍繞教學目標。要注意把作業與學生興趣相結合，難易程度和數量適合學生的實際情況，做到三個“有利于”：有利于學生加深理解新知識，有利于學生將知識轉化為技能，有利于學生提高英語應用能力。
托爾斯泰曾說過“成功的教學所需要的不是強制而是激發學生的興趣。”新的英語教學理念令備受關注的小學英語課堂充滿了挑戰，促使我們在教學實踐中努力探索，讓每一個孩子學習英語的興趣之花在小學英語高效課堂上更加美麗地綻放！

我們做家長要慢慢地陪著孩子長大，對待我們的孩子，言傳身教，多要求自己，少要求孩子，和孩子一起共同成長。
二、溝通
孩子這個階段已經開始有目標了，但是他們需要家長的幫助，比如督促孩子讀課文，聽聽他的背誦。
三、不要對孩子亂發脾氣
要站在孩子的位置上，了解他們的`想法。比如看見孩子作業沒寫完，不要一上來就咋呼、火冒三丈，你怎么還沒寫？天天就知道玩兒！等等。孩子會因此而好好寫作業嗎？當然不會，孩子會更抵觸寫作業。請用同理心教育孩子。“你不按時完成作業，我真的很難過。如果你能在半小時內把作業寫完，我會覺得很開心。”
四、松懈現象
有的學生學過英語就對學校的英語課堂學習放松了。覺得都會，以考試傻眼了。我們還是得重視我們的課本。
在英語教學過程中，希望家長配合我的工作有：
一、監督孩子們完成當天的作業
其實老師每天布置的作業都是有針對性的，是對當天課堂知識的鞏固和復習，所以要嚴格要求作業質量。
二、培養孩子記筆記的習慣
讓孩子們準備一個錯題本，記錄自己當時做錯的原因，再找同類型題練習，對復習知識很有幫助。
三、朗讀和背誦
我認為朗讀和背誦是學習語言最有效的方法了。即使今天的作業內容沒有朗讀背誦，每天也要拿出5分-10分鐘大聲的讀讀背背。
四、小目標
孩子們早上出門前定個小目標，比如：今天主動舉手發言，或發言一次，發言二次等等。
堅持和認真，兩個看上去很簡單的詞，但是做到持之以恒，很難，堅持做下去，受益終生。如果我們的父母熱愛生活與學習，那么父母的榜樣的力量大過100句甚至1000句道理。
